Do you like my new hat? Daddy picked it out!
Bath time - getting too big for his little tub.
Ben loves the swings. It's so cute that he puts his arms inside sometimes. He just leans into the swing and says "Eeeee".
Not sure what he's saying, but whenever he's around the bathtub he gets really excited.
Leaned in too close and the little guy got a good chunk of my hair, which of course turned into a fun game!
Saturday breakfast at the "Dream Cafe".
1st time in a swimming pool!
So sweet. We went out for pizza after swimming - what a fun afternoon.
My good friend Tara, who watches Ben for us, found him flat on his back with his legs bent like this...drinking out of his good friend Georgie's cup. We think he was bouncing and fell over backward and just got comfy!
The swing that Wes built for Ben - so cool!
Loves books!
Wes, Eric, and Josh on their annual motorcycle ride - otherwise known as the "Bro's, Burger's, and Bike's" weekend. Wes even designed t-shirts because this was the 5th annual.
Ben finally has a good amount of hair to put in a Mohawk.
We visited Wes up at his parents property in June. Wes helped build on their log home for a week. Coming along nicely.
1st 4th of July Parade! Great smile.
We were blessed to spend a night with Rebecca's parents in Vail - our first "vacation" since Ben was born. Ben did great and it was nice to get out of the 100 degree weather. This is Wes standing in front of a funky art piece.
Vail in the rain.
Downtown Vail. Ben loved all the people and colors. Look at those flowers!
Starting early! Ben testing out Uncle Josh's motorcycle.
Mmmm....wash cloths!
Not sure how to caption this photo, but whatever Ben is thinking, his expression just makes you light up.
ONE YEAR OLD!!!! Crazy how much takes place in one year. We had friends over for a party and then Wes' family came over for Ben's actual birthday - he loved the balloons and played with every single one of his new toys. Our living room is now lined with trucks, wagons, balls, and more!!
Praise the Lord for the joyous blessing that Ben is to us! Simply beyond words how wonderful it is having him in our lives.
Umm...can someone let me out of this wagon...I'm kind of stuck.
More progress on Wes' parents house! Just like Lincoln Logs right?!
Gotta capture those bare buns...so cute!
Testing out a ride on Mommy's shoulders.
Our first family hike on the Monument! Ben loved his backpack and it felt so refreshing to get out on the trails again! Even if it was only for 30 minutes it was way fun.
