38 Weeks and counting! Each day brings us closer to meeting our little miracle. Our baby is now about 6.5 pounds and getting stronger and stronger with some amazing kicks. I know we will love actually holding our baby, but there certainly is something so cool about feeling kicks INSIDE!

The Lord is blessing me with good health still. I am taking advantage of sleeping in and lots of naps, because night-time sleeps is quite uncomfortable. I woke up at 3:00 AM the other day and could not go back to sleep...so I watched a PBS special on Venice and read a book for a while...enjoyed some Peanut Butter, Graham Crackers and milk (a staple during these 9 months) and went back to bed at 5:00 AM!!! YIKES!

Enjoying an evening walk when my belly's shadow caught my eye!

Summertime!

So I had all Spring to plant my potted flowers...but for whatever reason I didn't get around to it until 37 weeks pregnant and 98 degrees! Oh well...I love having bright flowers around!

Wes, Josh, and Aric chowing down on some S.O.U.S's. "Smore's Of Unusual Size". These marshmallows were at least double the size of the regular jumbo size!!

Gooey goodness!

Wes, his brother Josh, and buddy Aric after running a 5K. It was Wes' first 5K and he did really well! Once a year the three of them get together and ride motorcycles and eat burgers - but this year they decided to add the 5K to their festivities. It was a fundraiser for an African orphanage that our church runs.

Gearing up before the big race!

Check out Baby Anderson's moves! I recorded this at 10:30 PM - a favorite play time. You'll notice my breathing, but the other movements are all Baby!

37 Weeks = Full Term! Our bags are packed!

Our baby is now considered full term and could come any time in the next three weeks - that is incredible to think about! Baby Anderson is certainly gearing up for his/her big entrance. Lots of wonderful kicks, punches, and rolls - especially at night! Midnight seems to be a favorite play time - and Wes has enjoyed poking and playing with our little one too.

Sleeping is probably the hardest part right now - getting up or shifting every hour because of sore hips and bathroom runs. The other night I got super hungry at 3 AM so I had a bowl of cereal and caught up on crossing things off of my to-do list.

Definately having more frequent belly tightenings (Braxton Hicks) and sharp jabs (little head butts, since our baby is head down now!). I'm still teaching a few lessons during the week until July 1st - but other than that, I'm trying to narrow down my to-do list as well as getting as many naps as I can.

37 Weeks

Woh! 36 Weeks! I think Baby is dropping a little lower now...

So I had my toenails painted today - aren't they pretty! What a perk of being married to an artist! Wes is the BEST husband ever - he painted my toes for the first time (since bending over is no longer an option for me) and did a fantastic job...flowers and all!
5 Weeks to go...although Wes and I really need to be ready for 2 weeks or any time after. 37 is full term - time has sure flown by! Still getting things ready for the home coming of our bundle!

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb."
Psalm 139:12-14

Thank you Lord for the privilege of being involved in Your work of creating this baby.

Since school finished a couple of days ago, I finally had time to wash all of our adorable little baby clothes. They are so tiny and precious.

Our baby weighs about as much as a honeydew melon - between 4 and 5 pounds and is seriously doing the tango some nights. These kicks are such a special privilege to be a part of. I sometimes just gaze at my belly and think...there is really a PERSON inside of me! How amazing is that! God is so creative and miraculous.

Our in - progress nursery. We finally have our yard sales stuff out of the room, so after Wes and I go on our date night to Target this weekend, we will inally have some more bins and storage to organize things.
Wes at 40 weeks and me at 34 weeks. For our last birth class, all of the dads had to wear the "Sympathy Belly". It weighed 35 pounds, had a warm bladder, plus a really tight elastic band that squeezed your rib cage to mimic the wonderful lack of breathing power we women go through.

Here's Wes trying to roll over in his sleep...he was such a great sport!

Oops...Wes dropped something and had to pick it up....good luck with that!

What a buff looking "mommy".

6 more weeks to go!

33 Weeks! Grow Baby grow!

32 Weeks. Look at the shine on my beautiful belly!
