So, I'm 40 weeks today! Wow! Baby Anderson is officially the size of a watermelon.

Thanks be to God for the great pregnancy and health He is given our baby and me. I continue to feel overall really good. It's been humid here in Grand Junction that past few days...around 75% in our house...so the swamp cooler doesn't really work efficiently - but it has been cloudy which has helped a bit. Pop-cicles have been delicious!

WOW! Thank you all for being such amazing encouragers and prayer warriors throughout my pregnancy. Please continue to pray for a smooth, healthy (Baby and Mom), uncomplicated labor and delivery too. I am overwhelmed by the amount of support, phone calls, Facebook messages, emails, and offers to help...here come the tears.... WHAT A HUGE BLESSING!

As I was beginning to get anxious this week about the timing of Baby Anderson's arrival, the Lord brought to my attention, AGAIN, that He is in control and has a perfect plan. He has a purpose for still allowing me to carry this child inside - a greater purpose that I may not see now, or ever see. May His peace reign in our hearts in all aspects of our lives...

Philippians 4: 6-7
6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

(Thank you to my AWESOME husband for reminding of this truth. Wes is absolutely incredible, and has been such a light to me...especially these past 9 months. Not to mention extremely patient and loving.)

Getting closer...39 weeks. One week to go! I'm done teaching lessons now and getting some projects done around the house that I've wanted to do for a couple of years. Having lots more Braxton Hicks contractions, but nothing real yet. Some continued pregnancy symptoms: I'm getting random goosebumps on my left leg...even when I'm not cold...weird...it's got to be connected to some nerve; and I'm certainly feeling a pressure as our baby drops lower. Trying to be patient in these last few days; knowing the the Lord has the perfect timeline for the arrival of our baby.

4th of July fireworks on the lawn at Mesa State College.

Graff Dairy local ice cream has got to be one of the best around!

38 1/2 Weeks at the Olive Garden.

We ran into my cousin Christy and her precious family at the fireworks - it was nice to catch up after about 4 years! Sad to say we live in the same town. Here they are checking out the fireworks.
We celebrated our 7th Anniversary on July 2nd! Wow...time sure flies when you're having fun; especially when you're with your best friend. Thank you Lord for our blessed marriage!

Yum, dinner at the Olive Garden and a movie afterwards.

We made home-made french toast for breakfast for our anniversary...doesn't it look amazing!
